Challenge: Expanding and Modernizing Headquarters

AllianceCo needed to expand its headquarters but faced significant challenges with its existing building, which lacked modern voice/data infrastructure, IP cameras, and a physical access control system. The project required the installation of new infrastructure within a tight timeline without disrupting existing systems. The primary objectives were to implement a comprehensive network infrastructure, including voice/data/audio/video cabling, IP cameras, physical access control, and two-way communication systems, ensuring a secure environment for operations.

How DTI Helped: Seamless Integration and Enhanced Security

DTI, as the prime contractor, utilized advanced technology platforms such as Hubbell Premise Wiring – Cat6E Solution, Axis IP Cameras, Axis video server, Axis door controllers, Axis door station, Axis HID card readers, and Altronix POE Power Supplies. The team installed the fiber optic backbone, Cat 6E cabling, IP cameras, HID Readers, physical access control modules, network gear, and low-voltage telecommunications wiring. DTI worked closely with AllianceCo and its partners, Hubbell and Axis, to ensure successful implementation tailored to AllianceCo’s security and communication needs, without disrupting existing systems.

Results & Outcomes

DTI completed the project on time and within budget, meeting the aggressive timeline. The comprehensive security system, including IP cameras and physical access controls, enhanced security and enabled efficient local and remote monitoring and communication with visitors via video and audio.
