The continued success of DTI stems from the executive leadership that Darryl Henry delivers as a business owner and employer. He values every staff member and encourages advancement and professional growth for each individual to reach their fullest potential. His vision and dedication exceed the day-to-day aspects of “business as usual” and includes the legacy, influence and impact that DTI can have on the next generation of IT professionals.

The birth of DTI began as a vision during Mr. Henry’s early years working as a HVAC technician and aircraft maintenance specialist. It was during that time that he began exploring the many opportunities that the IT industry had to offer, particularly from an entrepreneurial perspective. After conducting much research, in 1985, Mr. Henry established Diversified Telecommunications Inc., which later expanded resulting in, Diversified Technology, Inc. in 2007.

He has expertise in IT consulting, advisory, and network services. He offers a strong history of successful projects and placement, and has built strong relationships with clients, system integrators, and software providers. Darryl was selected into Harvard University’s executive training program as a result of DTI’s selection as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Inner City companies in America.

Darryl is committed to the local community and is the board chair of the Genesys Works Program in Chicago, which provides pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships.

Besides working with clients and his consultants, Darryl enjoys golf, the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with his family.
